Yulia specialises in CEO succession planning and executive team assessment across a broad range of industries. She advises shareholders and boards of directors on preparing future CEOs for leadership, structuring CEO succession processes and assessing the readiness of executive teams to deliver long-term strategic objectives.
Yulia also leads SQN's Mining & Metals Practice, advising shareholders and boards of mining and metals companies on CEO appointments, board composition and leadership development. She brings more than 15 years of experience in the assessment, development and appointment of senior executives for many of the world's leading mining and metals organisations.
Prior to joining SQN, Yulia led Korn Ferry's Mining & Metals Practice across Russia and the CIS and was responsible for the firm's business in Uzbekistan. Earlier in her career, she spent nine years leading executive talent strategy and senior leadership appointments at UC RUSAL, one of the world's largest aluminium producers, overseeing leadership initiatives across the company's international operations, including China, Guinea, Japan, South Korea, India and other markets.
