Head of the CFO Practice
Vasily specialises in advising Chief Financial Officers and works with CEOs, shareholders and boards of directors on CFO appointments, development and succession. He also supports current CFOs in shaping their career trajectories — from transitioning into new roles and expanding their professional focus to preparing for the next stage of their careers.
As part of SQN’s CFO Practice, Vasily also contributes to projects within the Investor Advisory and Family Offices, Asset Management Companies and Investment Funds practices, helping investors and investment organisations build strong leadership teams and identify executives capable of supporting long-term business growth.
He is also involved in SQN’s Sports Practice, where he combines his advisory expertise with a deep understanding of the professional sports environment. Having previously played professional football and holding a first adult sports qualification in the discipline, Vasily brings a unique perspective on the dynamics of the sports industry and the specific leadership challenges faced by sports organisations.
Prior to joining SQN, Vasily worked at Korn Ferry, a global leadership advisory firm and one of the world’s leading organisations in executive search and leadership assessment.
